Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

I love to write. I wear my heart on my sleeve and share my own life experiences with my readers. I hope to encourage, support, and inspire others through my writing.
My first nonfiction children's book, Have a Little Faith, promotes Down Syndrome Awareness and encourages all children to believe in themselves. My second book, Raising Faith, is adult nonfiction about the ups and downs of raising a child with Down Syndrome. I am also the author of two blogs and the host of a podcast, Jersey Gina's Gift of Gab.
I am passionate about helping people through my writing. I thoroughly enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences to help others better themselves. For me, that's what life is all about... using my talents to make someone else's life better. I am a people person to my core. I thrive on building relationships, collaboration, and helping other people succeed.
When I'm not writing, I enjoy reading, hiking, kayaking, cooking, advocating for special needs children, raising chickens, gardening, and quality time with my family. I am truly blessed with a wonderful circle of supportive, and loving family and friends. I'm happily married, mother to a fantastic son, a fun-loving daughter, with Down Syndrome, and two clever, sweet step-sons who also enjoy the outdoors. I am currently an elementary school teacher and working on my Master's in Counseling.
